Reflection of video

The video segments showcased for this reflection is during one of the lessons I had just started about Force and Gravity. I noticed in the video, it showed the classroom environment was respectful and manageable. I think that I had a good temple on the lesson and did a good in probing for student responses, acknowledged when students’ weren’t able to answer and that I would come back to them later. I did notice that I need to work on my questioning as I often ask closed-ended questions and not allow for enough time to respond. I know that I am still learning this skill but it’s a habit I will need to break in order for me improve as a teacher. I know that there are other strategies for developing and asking better questions I would definitely explore, learn and incorporate moving forward.
