About Malia

As a proud graduate of Kamehameha Schools – Kapālama, I know what it feels like to step beyond the comfort of familiar spaces. My journey has been guided by two extraordinary “mana wahine”—my mother and grandmother—whose strength, resilience, and unwavering belief in education shaped who I am today. Their legacy inspires me to uplift others, especially our young alumni navigating their own transitions.

I have over 20 years of experience in the areas of K-12 admissions, educational support, business process reengineering, special projects, and higher education academic advising and counseling. Therefore, I offer a well-rounded approach to postsecondary planning, blending practical strategies with personal insights. My leadership experience spans management to enterprise-level initiatives, giving me a strong foundation into the interpersonal skills, communication, and character development essential for success in any setting.

As a business owner and entrepreneur, I have learned the value of perseverance, self-discipline, and embracing challenges as opportunities for growth. I am here to walk alongside you—not just as a guide, but as someone who believes in your potential. Together, we’ll build the confidence, clarity, and courage you need to thrive in your postsecondary and career goals—wherever your path leads.
