Aloha!<\/p>\n

My name is Winnie Lam and I am the Orchestra director at Kamehameha Schools Kap\u0101lama Middle School.<\/p>\n

This is my tenth year teaching Orchestra here at the middle school. \u00a0I really enjoy working with students at this age group. \u00a0I graduated at the University of Hawaii at Manoa with a Masters of Arts in Music Education and a Bachelor of Education in Secondary Instrumental Music Education degrees. \u00a0I have also taught private violin and viola lessons for fourteen years.\u00a0 Before teaching at Kamehameha Schools, I served as the Beginning Strings Co-director for the Hawaii Youth Symphony from 2001 to 2004. \u00a0I also taught the After School Advanced Strings Orchestra at Moanalua Elementary School from 2002 to 2003.<\/p>\n

In my spare time, I like to go shopping, play my violin, and spend time with my husband, my two children, and friends.<\/p>\n
