Aloha k\u0101kou!<\/p>\n

My name is Tatiana Tseu Fox, a KS-K 2000 alumnus.\u00a0 I was born and raised on the island of O\u2018ahu.\u00a0 I grew up in a family that was very culturally active in the local community.\u00a0\u00a0 I am very passionate about my culture and am equally passionate about education.\u00a0 I have an Associates degree from Leeward Community College, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Hawaiian Studies with a minor in Sociology, a Master of Education degree in Curriculum Studies with a focus on Middle Level Education, and a 2nd<\/sup> Master of Education degree in Educational Foundations with an emphasis on Private School Leadership.\u00a0 I have been teaching at\u00a0 KS-Kap\u0101lama Middle School for 8 years and also assisted in the KS-KHS Performing Arts Department for 5 years prior to coming to the middle school.\u00a0 As a wife and a mother, I always make it a point to put my family first in all that I do and am devoted in seeing to it that my children are strongly attached to their Hawaiian roots.<\/p>\n

Hawaiian chant and dance are vehicles of our native culture, and \u2018\u014dlelo Hawai\u2018i is the official language of the state of Hawai\u2018i and the language of our ancestors.\u00a0 Learning hula, oli, and \u2018\u014dlelo provides you with the opportunity to develop aloha for our heritage.\u00a0 The study of Hawaiian chant, dance, and language will strengthen your appreciation for Hawaiian culture, history, and perspective.<\/p>\n
