This class covers how key events in America were critically affected by various methods of communication from newspapers, film, and radio to television and social media. Students will have the opportunity to learn about the evolution of the media throughout its history. In addition, students will analyze the power of journalists to influence U.S. society, helping to shape America\u2019s development. Examining the impact of media, students will also discover how American<br \/>\nindividuals and groups utilized mass media to further their goals and interests.<\/p>\n<p>A research project will be completed to enhance student\u2019s critical thinking and writing skills.
