The course content and laboratory exercises generally follow that recommended by the College Board and are supplemented with unique material generated by the instructor.\u00a0 Some laboratory exercises are held on weekends to provide sufficient time for more involved experimentation. This course prepares students for the Advanced Placement Exam given by the College Board in May.\u00a0 Typically, 70-80% of students achieve a score sufficient to receive some college credit.\u00a0 Students are required to take the AP Biology exam in May. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">*AP EXAM FEE is approximately $98.00, payable at the beginning of the second semester.
