Haum\u0101na will learn about organisms from the six biological kingdoms (Archaea, Bacteria, Protista, Fungi, Plantae, Animalia) plus viruses. Endemic species will be highlighted. Running themes for each kingdom include understanding what makes the organisms in each kingdom unique, the roles of those organisms in the environment, and the significance of those organisms to humans. In addition to lab investigations that will involve observing and studying actual organisms, haum\u0101na will explore, research, and learn about organisms that interest them.
