Fundamentals of Sport Strength and Conditioning [KH06253]
Semester 1
Prerequisites: Juniors and Seniors ONLY.
Recommendations: Varsity Level Sports
This course is a combination of strength. speed and agility training. along with skills and drills developed to further the skill and knowledge levels in regards to the High School sports. The strength-training phase is designed to improve strength. quickness. power. and speed using Olympic Style lifting and Circuit Training. The speed development phase will include plyometric work on training with agility and speed dynamics. The Conditioning phase will focus on Agility, Plyometric, and Sprint Conditioning.
