&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;\n&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Ki\u02bbi      Meakanu: Botanical Illustration Using<\/strong> native Hawaiian plants as subject matter, haum\u0101na will build foundational skills in realistic drawing through exploring multiple drawing skills and techniques.<\/li><li><strong>K\u0101pala:      Mo\u02bbolelo \u02bbAno After<\/strong> learning about the k\u016bpuna art process of decorating kapa with \u02bbohe k\u0101pala, haum\u0101na create contemporary  3-D printed k\u0101pala to replicate the process of representing an idea in geometric shapes, then utilize a repeated stamping technique to create different areas of positive and negative space patterns on their Ho\u02bbolokahi T-shirts.<\/li><li><strong>He Alo Influenced<\/strong> by the famous Kamehameha Statue, the original which we visit in Kohala on huaka\u02bbi,haum\u0101na learn the basics of clay manipulation and sculpture building, developing, and glazing through creating a 3-d portrait of someone who has had a positive influence on them.<\/li><li><strong>Textures in Hawaiian Life <\/strong>Students explore the <strong>actual textures<\/strong> of the main Hawaiian culture materials: feather, wood, bone, stone &amp;
