Laptop and iPad Roll Out – COMPLETED<\/p>\n

Please learn all you can about the student and parent resources available for the year by looking and bookmarking teacher blogs or websites.<\/p>\n

Laptop Roll In:<\/em> \u00a0<\/strong>Laptops are\u00a0provided to every student in grades 4-6. \u00a0laptops will be rolled in, which\u00a0means that all information on the laptop WILL BE ERASED and the laptop will be updated to provide better operating for SY 18-19. \u00a0See dates below.<\/p>\n

To prepare your child, please make sure they have a jump drive to back up their laptop information.<\/p>\n

iPad Roll In:<\/strong><\/em> \u00a0All iPads will be rolled in, which means that all work in the camera roll will be backed up to Google Drive. \u00a0Parents will be assisting with cleaning iPads and backing up work as necessary. \u00a0Last day for use is TBD in MAY 2018.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Earbuds\/Headphones:<\/strong><\/em> \u00a0Please clean and store your child’s\u00a0earbuds\/headphones that are brought home for use next school year.<\/p>\n

Students in K-3 are\u00a0provided with an\u00a0iPad Air\u00a0for use in the classroom. \u00a0Click on the Apple image below to learn about this new device!\"Screen<\/a><\/p>\n

Students in grade 4-6 are\u00a0provided with: \u00a0MacBook Air 11\u201d laptop;\u00a0<\/i>Laptop carrying case;\u00a0<\/i>Charger\"images\"<\/a><\/i><\/p>\n

We encourage all students\u00a0to purchase earbuds<\/b>\u00a0to be used during the school day to minimize noise in the classrooms.<\/p>\n

If students are\u00a0in the 5th and 6th grade<\/b>, they will be allowed to take home laptops once students have\u00a0met all of the requirements (Passed “Digital Citizenship” assessment and you have\u00a0completed\u00a0parent online training). \u00a0Students in K-4 may bring home mobile devices for projects on a limited basis. \u00a0Digital Citizenship for their grade level and parent training is also required.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
