Laptop and iPad Roll Out – COMPLETED

Laptop Roll In:  Laptops are provided to every student in grades 4-6.  laptops will be rolled in, which means that all information on the laptop WILL BE ERASED and the laptop will be updated to provide better operating for SY 18-19.  See dates below.

To prepare your child, please make sure they have a jump drive to back up their laptop information.

iPad Roll In:  All iPads will be rolled in, which means that all work in the camera roll will be backed up to Google Drive.  Parents will be assisting with cleaning iPads and backing up work as necessary.  Last day for use is TBD in MAY 2018.

Earbuds/Headphones:  Please clean and store your child’s earbuds/headphones that are brought home for use next school year.

Students in K-3 are provided with an iPad Air for use in the classroom.  Click on the Apple image below to learn about this new device!

Students in grade 4-6 are provided with:  MacBook Air 11” laptop; Laptop carrying case; Charger

We encourage all students to purchase earbuds to be used during the school day to minimize noise in the classrooms.

If students are in the 5th and 6th grade, they will be allowed to take home laptops once students have met all of the requirements (Passed “Digital Citizenship” assessment and you have completed parent online training).  Students in K-4 may bring home mobile devices for projects on a limited basis.  Digital Citizenship for their grade level and parent training is also required.
