Play-Well TEKnologies (GR K-1) Play-Well TEKnologies introduces the world of S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) through the “Intro to STEM w/ LEGO” program. In this 90-minute class, students will have access to over 20,000 pieces of LEGO as they build engineer-designed projects such as Motorized Gear Cars, Conveyor Belts, Mechanized Walkers, Suspended Gondolas and Towering Skyscrapers. Students will engineer their own STEM- based LEGO projects while learning fundamentals in physics, art, design and architecture though hands on interaction and play. Design and build as never before, and explore your craziest ideas in a supportive environment.  An experienced instructor will challenge new and returning students to engineer at the next level. Advantage Sports Academy (GR K-2) Learn and continue to develop technical skills that will improve coordination, balance, and stamina in a fun team environment. In our 7th year, our Soccer Academy has helped students across Hawaii receive a supplemental workout to either their AYSO or HYSA team training. Students can be beginner to advance. Linguistic Advantage (GR K-6) is in its 24th year providing quality Japanese language classes for elementary school children. The classes follow a four-skill (reading, writing, speaking and listening), spiraling seven-year curriculum. No background is assumed at all levels of entry. However, the writing curriculum is accelerated for students with previous background and those coming from homes where Japanese may be spoken. *Students in the GR K-3 class must check-in at YMCA at 2:30pm and remain there until the instructor picks them up for class. Students in the GR 4-6 class must attend YMCA after school care from 2:30-3:45 or be picked up from school at 2:30 and brought back to campus for class. Email instructor to register.

Little Doctor School (GR K-5) Little Doctor School INSPIRES students to be Doctors! Keiki Engineering (GR K-1) Blasters, changing colored lights and bug bots…These fun, interactive age-appropriate tools are helping our young Keiki Engineering students learn about electricity and coding. Guided play time with board games, electronic building systems and programmable robots help young innovators learn basic science and engineering concepts while developing and reinforcing logic and sequencing skills – building blocks for higher level learning. Hula (GR K-6) Ululani Zuttermeister is a member of a prominent Windward Oahu hula family. The focus of our class is to familiarize our young students with Hawaiian music, hula terminology, use of different hula instruments and language with each session being a little different. Our hōʻike is usually scheduled at the end of the school year to give the parents and family a chance to see and experience what students learned throughout the year.
