Open a Spotlight Search<\/strong>, search for “print center<\/em>” and open the Print Center app<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the top menu, select Printer<\/strong> > Add Printer<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Click on the middle Globe icon<\/strong> to add by host name \/ IP address<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Enter the Print Queue Host Name<\/strong> in the Address<\/strong> field<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Protocol: Line Printer Daemon – LPD<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Click on the dropdown menu to the right of Use:<\/strong> and click “Select Software”<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Search for and select the printer driver that corresponds with the printer model. Then click “OK<\/strong>“.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note: most printer models on campus are Xerox C410<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
