Today more than ever, we remain committed to the health and safety of our keiki, ‘ohana and community. We are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation and continue to adhere to recommendations from leading health organizations and guidance from state and county officials, based on current conditions in our communities. Due to the continual changes that we are experiencing working through COVID-19, Summer School is planning courses with the following changes for Summer 2021:
- We will offer Hybrid classes for students in grades 1-8. On campus instruction will occur on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Online Distance Learning will occur on Tuesday and Thursday’s when students are not on campus. More information is forthcoming regarding possible activities.
- High school courses will be for Kamehameha students only. Given the unprecedented circumstances and uncertainty of future restrictions, we hope that making this decision proactively grants our families time to adjust any summer plans that may be impacted by the current situation.
- Hybrid Summer dates are June 14-July 16, 2021. Classes will run from 7:45-11:45. There will be no afternoon or academy courses for Summer 2021.
We appreciate aloha, grace and understanding and hope to be able to serve your keiki in the future. Mahalo nui loa for your interest in Kamehameha Schools Summer Programs.
