Aloha!<\/p>\n

Welcome to the Personal Health Blog! Throughout the semester students will learn about health and health sciences by covering a variety of topics. These topics include but are not limited to peer relationships, nutrition, male and female reproductive system, STD\/STI’s, parenting unit, and substance abuse. For a brief overview of the class I have provided the\u00a0Health course syllabus<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Each semester the curricula is updated with any important changes to the lessons and units, helping to ensure students are receiving the most accurate health information. Students will utilize Google Classroom\u00a0to access the curriculum as well as other resources and technology tools to support what we are learning.<\/p>\n

By the end of the semester, students should be able to learn and understand basic health information and services; as well as posses the ability to use those resources learned in class to promote his\/her health. I look forward to working with your child and teaching them about the physical, mental, emotional, and social aspects of health.<\/p>\n
