The kindergarten classes enjoyed another outing into our kaiaulu, visiting the radio station and a nursing home. \u00a0We learned about the many services provided by our radio operators as well as how they record commercials and the many computers they use to run the station.<\/p>\n

Kyleigh wrote: \u00a0“thank you for letting us talk on the microphones.” \u00a0Haylyn wrote: “thank you for showing me the big, big giant flashlight.” \u00a0Ty wrote: \u00a0“I learned about the DJs. \u00a0They had the music. \u00a0I like talking on microphones.”<\/p>\n

At Hale Anuenue we sang Christmas carols to the kupuna. \u00a0The children made special Christmas cards to share with them as well. \u00a0There were many smiles and hugs of appreciation as we shared our aloha there.<\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
