Kindergarten Writers

Here we are in the early stages of our kindergarten writing process. The following are pictures of the students writing about some person they know well. This type of writing will fall under the benchmark of informational writing. This is one type or genre of writing we will learn this year. Support your child’s writing efforts by encouraging them to think and talk first about their story ideas. Give them opportunities to draw and write freely and support their developmental spelling!
