Spring is in the air. \u00a0I love Easter, because it reminds me of my Savior, Jesus Christ, and hope. \u00a0This cycle we are going to Maluhia and sharing our talents with them. \u00a0We are also going to see the 5th grade play. \u00a0Plus, we have no school on April 18 and 21 because of Easter. \u00a0If you’re interested in playing football in middle school, there will be a meeting in my room on April 23. \u00a0Here’s a tentative schedule for Cycle 21:<\/p>\n

Day 1, Fri., April 11, 2013<\/strong><\/p>\n

Today we will check 2.1 and the ACE homework from yesterday. \u00a0We will work on 2.2 which is all about adding and subtracting fractions.<\/p>\n

Homework: \u00a0Finish 2.2; ACE p.25 #4, 6-12, 30-35 \u00a0Due Day 2 (4\/14)<\/p>\n

IXL (U, V, W) \u00a0Due Day 6 (4\/23)<\/p>\n

Day 2, Mon., April 14, 2013<\/strong><\/p>\n

Today we will check 2.2 and the ACE homework. \u00a0We will work on 2.3, including fact families.<\/p>\n

Homework: \u00a0Finish 2.3; ACE p.25 #14-18, 41-44 \u00a0Due Day 4 (4\/17)<\/p>\n

Day 3, Tues., April 15<\/strong><\/p>\n

No Math today! \u00a0Today we will share our talents and visit with the patients at Maluhia Hospital.<\/p>\n

Day LN, Wed., April 16<\/strong><\/p>\n

Today we will watch the 5th grade play.<\/p>\n

Day 4, Thurs., April 17<\/strong><\/p>\n

Today we will check 2.3 and the ACE homework from Monday. \u00a0We will also work on 2.4, including algorithms.<\/p>\n

Homework: \u00a0Finish 2.4; \u00a0ACE p.26 #19-25, 46, 47 \u00a0Due Day 5 (4\/22)<\/p>\n

Day 5, Tues., April 22<\/strong><\/p>\n

Today we will check 2.4, check the ACE homework from Day 4, and work on Math reflection p.31.<\/p>\n

Homework: \u00a0Math Reflection p.31 final draft \u00a0Due Day 6 (4\/23)<\/p>\n

Day 6, Wed., April 23<\/strong><\/p>\n

Today we will turn in Math reflection p.31, review investigations 1 and 2, and take a quiz on investigations 1 and 2.<\/p>\n
