Extra pono points: What is one thing you have learned in Math so far this year?

  1. One thing that I learned so far in 6th grade math is about the effect that outliers have on the mean. If the outlier is smaller, the mean decreases. If the outlier is bigger, the mean increases.

  2. One thing I learned is that before I never knew what an outlier was and then I learned that it was a number in a data set that is either much greater or much less than all the other numbers in the rest of the set.

  3. One thing I learned so far in math is that formulas are made with the names of the different cells. For instance, if a question was to write a formula based on the total of all of cells B and C. So the problem would be answered with the letter the numbered column. The equation will be like this for every number in the equation. Ex. B2+B3+B4+C2+C3+C4=?
