Looking at things from a different perspective…the students shared their thoughts on what Makawalu means. \u00a0Here is \u00a0a picture that Brock found that depicts Makawalu. \u00a0The following are art pieces that hang at Ka\u02bbiwak\u012bloumoku Cultural center on the Kap\u0101lama campus. \u00a0**NOTE:\u00a0Stay tuned for student work on this topic using the Aurasma (Augmented reality app)…This is a cool app that we used during our Makawalu Hilo presentation that allows you to dive deeper into learning by dragging your tech device over a picture.<\/span><\/p>\n

Here\u02bbs our week at a glance…Do you realize that we have only 7 more weeks until the school year ends? \u00a0Seems like we just got started and now we\u02bbre beginning the dash to the end of the year! \u00a0Still much to accomplish and celebrate before summer rolls around.<\/p>\n

Fri., April 11-Day 2: \u00a0Spring concert tonight at 6pm. \u00a0Come hear the students perform the music that changed the world! \u00a0Students will be paying tribute to one of the world\u02bbs most iconic bands…The Beatles!<\/p>\n
