Enjoying your Summer? Our haumana in Kumu Kaiaokamalie’s SustainAppbility Summer Course Session 2 class have been busy creating Apps that will help our ‘Åina. Haumana have created Apps that will help detect pesky insects (Hawaii’s Curious Creatures), learn how to care for a plant in a digital virtual reality environment, or even learn which Native Species are best for food consumption. Jason Patao and his partner Shacedy Dudoit-Higa have brainstormed an App called Ulu that will help populate more native plants on Maui.
