Science showed me how similar sustainability is to the Hawai&#8217;ian culture and how important it is for us to make beneficial decisions for not only ourselves but also the greater community.<\/p>\n<p>Shortly after graduation I was blessed to work at Kihei Charter School, where I was first exposed to teaching, it was also there where I had the opportunity to develop science lectures on Hawai&#8217;ian culture and sustainability. \u00a0Shortly after Ke Akua opened another door at Kamehameha Schools Maui as the Elementary Science Specialist.
