Several makua having been asking for Apps or websites to help their keiki practice content area skills at home. Kumu Kaulana Dameg helped us do some research and compiled this extensive list of resources that you may find helpful. Some are free and others are paid apps. Post a comment if you try it out and leave a review to share with everyone. <\/p>\n

Please keep in mind that the best learning tool is authentic experiences where keiki are doing, making, creating, talking, observing and conversing. Balancing online and offline activities is so important, so please monitor your child\u2019s screen time. <\/p>\n

Hawaiian language<\/strong>
\nFeed Me! Hawaiian – great for basic Hawaiian vocabulary practice (numbers, colors, shapes)
\nMango Languages – \u02bb\u014clelo Hawai\u2019i course website and app. The first three lessons are free to try and you can access the remaining lessons for free through the Hawai\u02bbi State Public Library. You\u02bbll need your library card number to access.
\nOiwi.tv has some great videos that are geared towards keiki
\nKumukahi.org \u2013 KS produced culture-based and \u2018\u014dlelo Hawai\u2019i based videos
\nKa Nohona Ahupua\u02bba \u2013 this site is used by N\u0101 Kula Kamali\u02bbi to teach the keiki the different terms and concepts surrounding the Ahupua\u02bba.
