We have a new friend in class named PROMETHEAN! Think of it as a giant iPad where the teacher AND students can be actively engaged in learning. Ms. Manliguis was trained over the weekend and tried it out with her students for the first time today. We used it for our Morning Meeting and message, Writer’s Workshop and Math. Look at these pics where the students actually got to demonstrate their knowledge of subtracting with the base ten blocks.
