Princess’s Ball

Papa ‘Ekolu’s annual Princess’s Ball was held on October 24, 2014 at Nani Mau Gardens. This event was held to celebrate the life and legacy of our beloved founder, Ke Ali’i Bernice Pauahi Bishop. Prior to attending this ball, Third Grade students researched Pauahi’s family roots, education, travels and more by reading books and watching videos about her. The Princess’s Ball provided the students with an opportunity to partake in many of the things that Pauahi enjoyed doing, such as appreciating the beauty of flowers in a garden, dining on fine foods, conversing with others, and of course, dancing. It was a joyful celebration to show our gratitude to an extraordinary woman with a generous heart. Mahalo Ke Ali’i Pauahi!
