Youth Art Month

“Yippee, we have Art class today!” That’s a common comment heard in 3B’s classroom on a Day 2. The students just love to do art with Mrs. Rosehill, so it’s not a surprise that we have so many awards being given to kids for their creative pieces of art.

March is Youth Art Month, thus many exhibits are being shown around the state. Three of our talented students’ work have been chosen to be displayed at two different exhibits. Ikaika and Montana have pieces of art being shown at the East Hawaii Cultural Center beginning on March 2nd at the opening ceremony. Stop by to check out the celebration at 10 a.m. In addition, Hayden’s art work will be displayed at our State Capitol throughout March. His piece is one of 102 artworks chosen from a field of 400 submissions. Hayden’s moon landscape piece was also awarded “Best in Age Division/Category”. Way to go, Haumana and Mrs. Rosehill! We are proud of your accomplishments!
