“Aloha Aku, Aloha Mai” If you give love, you will receive love.

This is Kula Ha’aha’a’s 2nd Trimester Hawaiian Value that we are emphasizing in class and around school. We even hope that the behaviors that demonstrate Aloha Aku, Aloha Mai are extended at home and in the community as well.

Students and parents, what does Aloha Aku, Aloha Mai mean to you? What would you observe if you saw someone showing aloha? How does it make you feel to give and receive aloha? How does aloha affect the world that we live in? Think carefully before you respond so you can organize your thoughts. Please edit your work so that your mana’o is clearly stated. Your voice and thoughts count and we really want to hear what you have to say on this topic.
