On Monday, February 28th we will be taking our service learning huakaʻi to Under His Wings Ministry and St. Joseph Catholic Church. What will we do there? Well, we will take a tour of Under His Wings with the assistant director Sistah Clara and also have the opportunity to share our beautiful voices with visitors by singing “Love Can Build A Bridge”.
Studentʻs will also be learning how St. Joseph Church gives back to the community by running a food pantry. They will even be packaging and handing out non perishable food bags to the hungry. What a learning experience!
Huakaʻi Schedule: Leave school at 9:15am and return at 2:00pm
Important Note: We will be having a later lunch than usual so please encourage your child to have a hearty breakfast that day!
