The time is nearly here. Our keiki have been spending many hours practicing and rehearsing their fables for the Speech Festival. Here is the schedule for the presentations next week:
Tuesday, February 1 Class presentations; students will score each other and select the top 5 presentations to move on to the next round.
Wednesday, February 2 Semi-finals in Kina’u Pod; Judges from the faculty and staff will narrow down the finalists to just one representative for each class.
Friday, February 4 Finals; One representative from each class will present their fable at Lunalio Hale from 8:15- 9:00 a.m. Parents welcome to attend.
So, continue to have your child practice, practice, practice their piece at home. Remember to include gestures and expressions as well.
