Trip to Maine

Wouldn’t it be great to take a huaka’i to the state of Maine? Well, we couldn’t actually do that, but Mrs. Stack arranged so that we could Skype with a 3rd grade class in Maine. Both classes shared facts about their home state. We learned that their state bird is the chickadee and that they have 63 lighthouses on their coastline. Makana played a few chords on the ukulele for them and Kyra, Kaohinani and McKenna danced the hula. Learning can truly be a lot of fun!
