Homemade baked goods, koa Christmas ornaments, pet rocks, and more….what a wonderful learning experience this Market Day turned out to be! There was a lot of preparation before the big day arrived. Our keiki learned about our economy, money, producing a product and actually selling it to their peers. Math skills were put to the test as our haumana completed actual currency transactions with their customers. Yes, the money wasn’t real, but the products they purchased were.
Great job, Papa ‘Ekolu! You are sure to remember this day forever.
