{"id":1458,"date":"2011-10-18T12:31:09","date_gmt":"2011-10-18T22:31:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogsksbeedu.wpenginepowered.com\/hes\/?p=1458"},"modified":"2011-10-18T21:07:30","modified_gmt":"2011-10-19T07:07:30","slug":"a-spooktacular-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ksbe.edu\/hes\/2011\/10\/18\/a-spooktacular-day\/","title":{"rendered":"A Spooktacular Day!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Yes indeed &#8211; Halloween time is in the air!\u00a0 Every year at Kula Ha\u02bbaha\u02bba, our students (and staff!) look forward to our Halloween celebration!<\/p>\n<p>The Halloween parade held after lunch, is by far, the highlight of the day!\u00a0 Students are required to come to and from school in their uniform, however, after lunch, they magically transform into a variety of characters in costume and parade around our kula.\u00a0 The Food Services aunties and uncles are on the sidewalk handing out &#8220;goodies&#8221; to each child!\u00a0 We usually have a &#8220;surprise&#8221; guest greeting our students as they pass the Administration building!\u00a0 There will be many activities in the classrooms as\u00a0 well as a Halloween drama presentation available in the learning center.<\/p>\n<p>The parade starts at the dining hall at 12:25pm and the route takes the children around our kula and back to their classrooms.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Click <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.ksbe.edu\/hes\/files\/2011\/10\/Halloween-Flyer-2011.pdf\">here<\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.ksbe.edu\/hes\/files\/2011\/10\/halloween-blog.jpg\" class=\"wp_lightbox\" rel=\"post_1458\"><\/a>\u00a0to view the flyer that was sent home recently.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"&lt;\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.ksbe.edu\/hes\/files\/2011\/10\/halloween-blog-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Yes indeed &#8211; Halloween time is in the air!\u00a0 Every year at Kula Ha\u02bbaha\u02bba, our students (and staff!) look forward to our Halloween celebration!
