We began with a fire drill and ended with the alternate site evacuation which was, for practice purposes, the discus field on the side of the Pai&#8217;ea Stadium. There was a CERT (campus evacuation response team) tent set up, everyone knew their kuleana and it ran very smoothly. The teachers as well as all the Educational Assistants and office staff all pitched in to assist. Operations staff was on hand, high school administration participated and Peter Fuchs, Director of Campus Operations, was our Incident Commander. Mahalo nui to Morty Carter, Head of Security, for his leadership.<\/p>\n<p>We hold these drills so that, in the event of an emergency, our haumana know exactly what to expect, our faculty and staff as well as all employees on our KSH campus know how to m\u0101lama (take care) of our haum\u0101na and each other to ensure a safe outcome for all.<\/p>\n<p>Mahalo to the CERT personnel, the health
