The first grade haumana put on a GREAT play today (and yesterday) about the Kānāwai Māmalahoe, or the Law of the Splintered Paddle. Inspired by Kaipo Hale, of our CBECE (Community Based Early Childhood Education Division) and the curriculum his division is developing, Mrs. Moore and Mrs. Fortuna, with the help of Mrs. Debus, Kumu Crabbe, Mrs. Rosehill, and Mrs. Varize helped to produce a Hawaiian historical hōʻike, highlighting a very important event in our history. Enjoy this animoto featuring photos of the keiki.
