The children enjoy pretending, especially when it involves riding in something.  For the past few weeks, we’ve been doing a lot of movement songs that involve transportation vehicles.  Here the children are pretending to travel to space in a rocket ship.  It’s a movement song called, “Adventures in Space.” We made the setting more realistic by turning off the classroom lights.
