October 21: 5B Ah Hee

Aloha e 5B Students,

Can you believe that the trimester is almost over? Yep. Today will be focusing on reviewing for our final exam, which will be on our next `epekema (science) class Thursday, October 29. Please use the classwork worksheets that I already returned to you to help you review for the exam. It will be a short exam, so donʻt stress out too much.

Here are some review questions:

  • Explain the difference between the heliocentric model of the universe and the geocentric model of the universe. Draw each model with appropriate labels.
  • Who improved the “eye piece”, which later become known as the telescope? And what did this person discover using the telescope?
  • What are the objects that make out our solar system? Can you put these objects in the correct order?
  • We’ll have a shorten class due to the welcoming Trustee Micah Kāne.

    Cheers, Ms. Chang
