October 20: 1B Moore & 1A Fortuna

Aloha e First Graders,

Today we learned more about Punalu`u. We’re getting ready for your huakai to Punalu`u in the district of Ka`u. We already read and learned the differences between a green sea turtle and a hawksbill turtle. So today we’ll be watching some short videos about how Punalu`u got its name and what it provides the us. We will also see why Punalu`u is so important to honu (turtles).
