Morning Weather Report

Temperature: 71º F

Observations:  When this picture was taken it was sunny with scattered clouds. Now, 20 minutes later the sky is overcasted and it is rainy.  Our weather here changes quickly all the time.

The picture is of the building where grades K-2 classes are located.  It is called Kekūanao`a building.  It is named after Bernice Pauahi Bishopʻs hānai (adapted) father.  Bernice Pauahi Bishop is the founder of our school. In her will, she had instructed her husband, Charles Reed Bishop, to use her assets to construct a school to provide educational opportunities in order to improve the well-being of people of Hawaiian ancestry.  Our school was founded in 1887.

**Students do not have school today because the trimester ended yesterday. Today is a workday where teachers can gather grades.

Observations:  Overcasted. Raining off and on. Lots of puddles and muddy areas around the buidling. Slight breeze.
