FEST=Families Exploring Science Together

Location: `Imiloa Astronomy Center, Moanahoku Hall
•Design and construct your own BrushBot
•Learn about the science of BrushBots
•Compete in BrushBotSpeed Racing and Sumo Tournaments and win a FridgeBot
–receive an energy ball, diffraction glasses and a brushbot kit, all
valued at $14
•Find out about the Hawai`i scholastic robotics programs and the upcoming Hawai`i Island Robotics Academy (robotics camp)
*Science demonstrations by Science is Fun, Dale Olive
Eligibility: students in grades 3-8, each child accompanied by a parent
Presented by the award winning Waiakea High Robotics Club (Dale Olive, Mr. Science is Fun, and Waiakea Robotics Club members), Future Flight Hawai`i/Hawai`i Space Grant Consortium (Art and Rene Kimura)
