You can rip, tear, cut, fold, color, or draw on your paper. Those were the instructions for the Kindergartners as they figure out how to ‘change’ their piece of paper. This introduction activity allows the students to challenge themselves into seeing how they can change something. In the next few weeks, they will be exploring ways in which objects can be physically changed, from cutting, ripping, melting, and molding. Here are a few example of how students changed their one piece of paper.
