5G: Solving Crimes Using Evidence

In science, using evidence to support claims is very important.  It is important in solving mysteries as well.  The fifth graders started their training as junior criminalist.  Their first training, identifying fingerprints.  Every person the planet has a unique set of fingerprints.  These fingerprints are often left at crime scenes.  So today they used their skills to help solve a mystery.

A bank company reported that their safe was broken into last night.  The only evidence left behind by the theif were fingerprints.  So using their skills on identifying three types of fingerprints, the students were able to help the bank identify the thief.
