When creating a solar boat students encounter many challenges. Constantly they are building, testing, and changing. It’s part of the process and it forces them to really examine their boats and the structure of their boats. It allows them to come up with their own solutions to their challenges. Many of them take several tries to figure it, but throughout that process they gain more understanding of their boats. Eventually, I now that they will come out with solar boats that demonstrate their hard work and learning.
