After 5A go their instructions and rules for the solar boat regatta they were off to a great start. Many of the groups adventured on their own to create their own style of boat, while others went straight to the manual. There were groups that created test boats and used the outside canal to test their boats. Challenges have already presented itself to some of the groups. From tipping over boats, leaking boats, or not having the right supplies. Overall, they’ve been enthusiastic, creative, and hopeful.
