Today, the second graders will be continuing their study of the frog life cycle. We’ve broken down the frog’s life cycle into 5 stages. They’ll be making the frog life cycle out of air drying clay today in class. Here is a sample of what it might look like.
If you’d like to try this at home, you can also create it using candy. I thought about using candy for this activity, but thought about all the parents who like to save their child’s work. I’m sure that ants would be all over it in a few days. I did try it and this is what you can use: MnM’s for the eggs, jelly beans for the tadpoles and draw in the legs and tail, and a Haribo Mini gummy frog for the adult frog.
