Tues. Sept. 1: 2B Fullerton, 2A Hall

Aloha e Second Graders,

I was most impressed with how 2A and 2B students were so focused in class. Each class participated and actively listened while I was reading a new book about frogs and their life cycles. There were some very interesting new facts that we all learned. We were surprised to find out that frogs actually have small teeth and that they have two sets of eyelids. One pair of eyelids are transparent (see through or clear) and are used to see underwater. It’s like a pair of goggles.

I also noticed that each class was working really well to improve the quality of their work. Some were working really hard on writing neater and improving their handwriting. Others were making sure that their details and coloring were clean and neat. Again, I was most impressed with the effort to complete quality work.

Classwork: Life Cycle of a Frog – number the picture of the frog’s life cycle in correct order and label each stage appropriately. Needs to be colored. Due at the end of class.

Cheers, Ms. Chang
