Fruity Banana Smoothies

Ingredients:

  • 2 containers (8 ounces each) vanilla low-fat yogurt
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1 cup frozen whole strawberries
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons miniature semisweet chocolate chips or crushed Trix cereal
  • 1 banana

    Instructions:
    1. Put the yogurt in the blender. Scrape all of it out of the containers with the rubber spatula.
    2. Measure out the orange juice in the liquid measuring cup. Pour it into the blender.
    3. Take the bag of frozen strawberries out of the freezer. Measure out 1 cup. Put the rest of the strawberries back in the freezer.
    4. Peel the banana. Use the table knife to cut it into chunks on the cutting board.. Toss the banana chunks and the strawberries into the blender.
    5. Cover the blender with the lid. Blend until the mixture is smooth.
    6. Pour the mixture into glasses so each has about the same amount. Measure out 1/2 teaspoon of the chocolate chips. Sprinkle them on the smoothies.
