ANNOTATION
Problem Solving
Student is able to make sense and persevere in solving the problem. Student used accurate computation. Student demonstrates proper use of partial product.
Representation
Representation of garden box is accurate.
Communication
Student knows to justify the representation by telling the number of students and teacher used to solve the problem.
To be advanced: Student could have provided evidence of checking computations using a different strategy such as an area model. Student could use specific vocabulary to defend the solution.
