Intro Sample 1: Kundera\u2019s claim, that private life and public life should be kept \u201cseparate\u201d is indeed a valid point, describing our distaste for the exploitation of our private actions, however, there are times in which the \u201ccurtain\u201d hiding one\u2019s private life must be ripped down for the sake of the public.<\/p>\n

Intro\u00a0Sample 2: Although Kundera claims that curtain rippers are the \u201ccriminals,\u201d in reality, they are the heroes who expose evil done by the true criminal, the person hiding behind the curtains of privacy.<\/p>\n

Body Paragraphs<\/strong><\/p>\n

Body Sample 1: Is it a crime for the rape victim to reveal his rapist to the authorities? No. It is not a crime. Congressman Christopher Lee of New York, a husband and father, replied to a singles add on Craigslist, posing as a 34 year old, single, lobbyist, who in reality was a 46 year old, married, congressman, sending flirtatious e-mails and pictures to an anonymous woman. After an interview, the woman clearly stated her intentions, ones that weren\u2019t meant to bring harm but to expose the truth behind his political psaude. She didn\u2019t expect him to resign, however she did point out that she most likely wasn\u2019t the first internet affair. Is it a crime for a woman to report the adulterated actions of a married Congressman? If doing so sheds light on the true nature of a person, then isn\u2019t the person revealed the crime really the hero? If anything, this hero should be praised for what he has done because he exposes the true nature of the person in question.<\/p>\n

Body sample 2: Congressman Lee\u2019s private life was thrown into the public eyes this past week when a woman shared Lee\u2019s flirtatious responses from Craigslist. The prompt by Kundera states that the divider between one\u2019s public and private life is meant to be un-tampered with. Although we feel that there is a division between one\u2019s private and public life, we feel that it is a good thing that this woman shared this part of Lee\u2019s private life so that the true Lee is revealed to the world, including his wife. According to Kundera, the woman would be seen as the criminal, but looking at the circumstances, we can see that Lee is a criminal as well. It would be worse if the woman did not share this story because then Lee would continue cheating on his wife and deceiving all those who felt he was a good leader.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
