\u2018O Maui ka mokupuni, \u2018o Hamakuapoko ka moku.\u00a0 Born and raised on Maui, I am the eldest of three children born to Moses and Eliza K\u0101ne.\u00a0 My passion lies within the roots of my Hawaiian culture.\u00a0 This passion was instilled in me through the values taught by my \u2018ohana and through the education I received as a graduate of Kula Kaiapuni and the University of Hawai\u02bbi at M\u0101noa and through my h\u0101lau, Ke\u02bbalaokamaile.\u00a0 Today I consider it my kuleana to perpetuate and share both the Hawaiian language and culture.<\/p>\n
