You guessed it! Baltimore!
\nAs you may know, Ms. Fullerton’s Class (along with Mrs. Ah Hee and Kumu Kala’s classes) is collaborating with a class in Baltimore.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday it was the second graders turn to meet their new friends in Baltimore. \u00a0 And they were VERY excited!\u00a0 That morning I had bus duty and the keiki kept reminding me that we had a Skype at 9 am \ud83d\ude42\u00a0 As if I would forget!
\nOur first step before Skyping was using Google Earth to get a visualization of Baltimore! \u00a0 Much to our surprise look at what we found when we typed in Baltimore. \u00a0 Wow! Many of our initial wonderings were about what life might be like in such a big city.

In the video below you will see some pics and short video clips of our Skype. Below the Skype video there is a short slideshow of the second graders hard at work on their first project that they will be sharing with the students in Baltimore, an All About Me PowerPoint slide.\u00a0 The students will use a neat web tool called Edmodo to share their slides.\u00a0 Then they will be able to ask questions and have discussions with each other.<\/p>\n

Don’t you love the amazing ways technology can help us learn and connect with people far away!\u00a0 I sure do \ud83d\ude42 And a big Mahalo to Emily for helping to take photos and video. Great Job!<\/p>\n
